Why can’t I change my artist name or credits after approval?

Primary artist credit changes are not allowed after approval and delivery. Minor typo corrections may be possible in limited cases.

What corrections may be possible?

Artist name typos

Only if both are true:

• It’s a FastForward release

• The request is made within one year of approval

This applies to true spelling errors only, not casing.

Featured artist changes

A maximum of 3 artists can be added or removed, but only if both are true:

• It’s a FastForward release

• The request is made within one month of approval

What is not allowed?

• Changing the primary artist name

• Rebranding the artist

• Editing songwriter names
