Can I replace or update my song after approval?

You can’t replace a delivered recording with a new mix, remaster, or creative revision under the same release. Once approved, the audio file is locked.

Correcting a technical problem

If you added FastForward to your release, a limited correction may be possible for a genuine technical error within one year after delivery. A technical correction does not include a new mix, remaster, performance, or other creative change.

Contact CD Baby with the release details and describe the technical defect. Eligibility is reviewed case by case.

Releasing a new version

For a new recording or creative version, submit a new release with its own recording details and ISRC. Do not overwrite the delivered audio or reuse an ISRC for a different recording.
