If your release is already approve and delivered to our partners, or live on Spotify, Apple Music, or other platforms, your cover art cannot be changed. Once a release has been delivered to stores (or is already live), cover art is locked and cannot be updated or replaced.
Why is my artwork locked?
When your release is delivered, your metadata — including artwork — is sent to streaming platforms. If you’re seeing that the system “won’t let you edit” your artwork, that’s because the release has already moved into the delivered or live stage.
Does FastForward allow artwork changes?
No. Artwork changes are not supported, even with FastForward.
What if there’s a mistake in the cover art?
If your artwork contains an error (for example, a typo, wrong image, or outdated branding), you'll need to cancel distribution and submit a new release with the corrected artwork. See: How do I cancel a release?
