What happens after I have completed my submission?

Once you submitted your project for distribution (you can check this article to see if you have completed the submission process) here's what to expect next.

1. Processing of your project

We will process your audio and artwork and make the various audio formats required by our partners. 

2. Inspection of your project

Your release is then sent to our inspection team to make sure it will be accepted by our partner sites. Our partners have a number of requirements submissions must meet in order to be listed on those sites. 

Please allow up to 5 business days for inspection. We always recommend selecting a release date at least 6 weeks, but no more than 2 years, from the date you submit for distribution to allow enough time to promote your music and ensure your release date is honored.

Please note: any time you make changes to your title, it takes it out of the inspection queue and puts it at the back of the line.

• IF YOU PASS INSPECTION 

Good news! Your title will be delivered to our digital partners upon passing inspection. You will receive an email confirming that your submission is being delivered to our partner sites. 

• IF YOU PASS INSPECTION BECAUSE WE MADE SOME ADJUSTMENTS

You will be sent an email requesting your final approval to send your release to our partner sites. In that email you will be directed to a final summary of the info for your submission. There you can confirm that all the details are correct and submit your final approval on the release. 

• IF YOU DO NOT PASS INSPECTION

You will get an email from our inspection team detailing the issues that need to be resolved before you resubmit.

3. Your project goes out for delivery to our partner sites

The time it takes for us to complete the above steps is, on average, about 5-10 business days. Once you have passed inspection we will begin sending the album to our partner sites. The release will go live on most of our partner sites in about 1-2 weeks but some sites can take up to 8 weeks. If you have a future release date set and our partner sites receive your submission before that date, they will hold activation of your page until your official release date.

How to view where your music has been delivered:

Here's how to view where your music has been delivered:

• Log into your account
• Click on the tab “Albums & Singles” at the top of the page
• Click on the green uppercase letters that say 'YES' under the 'Digital Distro?' header next to your album title

Or, from the Title Overview Page, you can click on DISTRIBUTION and then select Partner Delivery.

This will display to you an updated list of all the partners you've been successfully delivered to and the date of delivery. Please allow time for those companies to ingest your content and post it to their site. A successful delivery does not mean your content will be immediately available.

Unfortunately, we aren't notified when your content is available on partner sites. The best way to stay current is to check those sites daily.
