Your HearNow page is linked to the information you've provided for each release within your CD Baby account. Having a fully functional HearNow page is dependent on the process and delivery of your release at CD Baby.
Here's how it works:
Once you're done signing up your release with CD Baby and you submit it for distribution via CD Baby, it goes through the queue for inspection.
Please allow up to 5 days for inspection. We always recommend selecting a release date at least 6 weeks, but no more than 2 years, from the date you submit for distribution to allow enough time to promote your music and ensure your release date is honored.
Please note: any time you make changes to your release, it takes it out of the inspection queue and puts it at the back of the line.
At this point, you have the opportunity to start building your HearNow page so it’s ready to help you promote your music as soon as your release is delivered to partners. You can add your music's social media links (Facebook, Instagram) or your personal website to the custom links. By doing this ahead of time, you can ensure that your HearNow page is ready to go on your release date!
If your title passes inspection:
You'll receive an email from CD Baby. At that point, it can take up to 30 days to go live with all the partners. If you have a future release date, the partners will honor that release date. During that time, the HearNow system will be scouring the internet for your links.
If you still don't see your links 7-10 business days after your title is live with each partner, you can reach out to the HearNow support team and request those links here. Choose "Adding Links" from the drop-down menu option.
If your title does NOT pass inspection:
You'll receive an email from CD Baby detailing the issues that need to be resolved before you re-submit. At this point, your HearNow page will look "incomplete" or "down" if you have already signed up. Don't worry, as soon as you make the required changes and re-submit your release for distribution, everything on HearNow will be back where it belongs!
Re-submitting your title for distribution via CD Baby
If you do have to re-submit your release for distribution for whatever reason (you need to make a change yourself, or resolved the issues sent to you by the inspector), you'll need to go through the inspection process again. Once you click the "re-submit for distribution" button, your HearNow page will once again be available.
