What can I customize?

• Social media and personal website links

• The “About” section text
• Audio settings (whether audio plays and whether the tracklist is shown)

How to add social media & fan funding links

• Log in to your HearNow page via Design & Preview
• Scroll to the Links section and click +Add More
  
• Pick the icon you want (e.g. Facebook, Twitter) and paste your URL
• Note: Music or physical product buy links go elsewhere, not under social links
• To add fan funding, do the same steps in the Fan Funding section

How to customize your “About” section

• Within Design & Preview, scroll to the About section
• Type or paste your bio, story, or message to fans
• You can't edit your artist name, track names, or copyrights

How to manage your audio settings

• You can control how (and whether) audio plays on your HearNow page. The default for pages created on or after release is 30-second clips, but you can also play full audio. 
• You can toggle the music player on or off
• You can choose to display or hide the tracklist before release
• For future release dates:
  • Default: No audio, hidden tracklist
  • Option: No audio, display tracklist
• Cover songs only play a 30-second clip

Can I activate my HearNow page before my release date?

• Yes! In your CD Baby account, go to the admin section and click “You want to publish early?”

Things to note

• Some text (artist name, track names, copyrights) must be updated via CD Baby, not HearNow
• Changes to audio settings or display won’t affect downstream delivery or distribution
