Quick answer
A Delivery Error means something prevented your release from being successfully delivered to one or more platforms. Contact CD Baby support so our team can investigate and take the appropriate next steps — this isn't something that can be resolved from your account.
What's happening and why
Once your release is submitted, CD Baby delivers it to streaming platforms and download stores on your behalf. A Delivery Error status means that delivery attempt didn't complete successfully.
This can happen for a few reasons:
- A temporary issue on the platform's end
- A problem with information associated with your release, such as how certain details were entered
In either case, the next step is the same: our team needs to review what happened before any action is taken.
What should I do?
Contact CD Baby Support
Submit a request, and select Music Not Showing or Looks Wrong > My release isn’t showing on a platform from the dropdown. Makes sure to include the following:
- The UPC of your affected release
- The name of the platform(s) showing the error
- The date you submitted your release
- A brief description of what you're seeing in your account
Our team will review the error and let you know what's needed — in some cases we'll be able to trigger a redelivery, and in others there may be a step to resolve first before redelivery can happen.
How long will it take to fix?
Once our team has reviewed and taken action, processing times vary by platform. We'll follow up if anything further is needed on your end.
