Enter the composer’s full name in the Songwriter section for each composition. List the person who wrote the music — not the performer, arranger, or lyricist unless that person also composed the music.
Enter composer credits
Use the composer’s full first and last name. If the composer performs on the recording, their artist name should match the artist credit used elsewhere on the release.
Do not enter a conductor, performer, arranger, or librettist as the composer unless they also wrote the composition.
Add arrangement and version details
Put arranger information in the track title where appropriate. Put a translation, edition, or other version description in parentheses at the end of the title.
Review each track’s writer credit individually. A classical album can contain works by different composers.
