Why should I avoid generic track titles?

Track titles can't be overly generic. They must have a unique name.

For example, don't name your tracks:

• Beat 1, Beat 2, etc.
• Instrumental 1, Instrumental 2, etc.
• Track 1, Track 2, etc.
• Song 1, Song 2, etc.
• ...

This doesn't help your fans identify your track in their music library, and can be confusing. It's important that each track is called something that helps your fans know the music is yours!

Track titles cannot be or include recognizable artist names such as a performer, musician, actor, or anyone's likeness as a track title. This can be misleading and may cause customers to think that that particular artist is performing on the track.
