How do I take down or cancel a release?

There may be times when you need to cancel a release and have it removed from CD Baby services and our digital partners.

How to cancel your release from all platforms

1. Log in to your CD Baby account.
2. Go to Albums & Singles.
3. Click view/edit next to the release.
4. Scroll down to the Distribution section.
5. Click Cancellation Options.
6. Review the cancellation warning.
7. Select Cancel ALL Digital Distribution → Submit.

This removes your release from all digital partners (Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, etc.), cancels Social Video Monetization (Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), and cancels services included in CDB Boost.

Your content will be removed from partner sites within 30 days. Please note that cancellations are final.
