If your release has already been approved and delivered, you can make a change to your distribution level by reaching out to our Support team. To do this, please submit a request through our Help Center form:
- Select Customer Support > Upload, Edit, or Manage My Music > Change distribution level
- Select the distribution level you want: 'Downloads only', 'Downloads and streaming', or 'Do it all, even unpaid'.
- Enter the required details, and submit!
Most requests are processed within 4-6 weeks. Keep in mind that updates may take some time to appear on different sites, depending on the specific change and platform.

How do I check my current distribution level?
- Log in to your CD Baby account.
- Click Albums & Singles from your dashboard.
- Under the Digital Distro column, click Yes next to your release
- You’ll be taken to the Distribution section, where you can view your current distribution level and partner site details.
What if my release hasn't been approved and delivered yet?
If your release hasn’t been distributed to any digital partners, you can still change your distribution level directly in your account.
- Log into your artist account.
- Click on 'VIEW/EDIT' next to the submission in question.
- Please note: If you recently submitted for inspection, click "I need to make changes" first.
- Click 'DISTRIBUTION' > 'EDIT DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION OPTIONS'.
- Choose what level of distribution you would like for your release.
- You can check or uncheck the boxes next to specific partners to add or remove them.
- Keep in mind that some of our distribution is via aggregation partners:
- If there's a specific partner you want to opt in/out of that is not listed individually, you may need to opt in/out of the aggregation partner.
- For example, Snap is distributed via 7Digital.
