Once you've completed your release setup, you'll need to check out and pay to move forward with distribution. If you've finished entering your album details but haven't paid yet, you'll see it listed in your dashboard as an unpaid item.
How to pay for your submission
To complete payment for your submission:
- Log in to your CD Baby account
- From the Account Dashboard, scroll down to find your Incomplete Releases
- Click Add to Cart on the right
- Decide whether to include HearNow or continue without
- Click the green Checkout button to review your order
- Enter your payment details and follow the prompts to pay
- You’ll receive a receipt via email with your sales order (SO) number, which serves as your invoice
Things to note
Due to the current restrictions implemented by our banking partners, credit card processors, and PayPal, we are currently unable to accept payment from people in Russia.
Our banking partners have also suspended currency conversion to UAH (Ukrainian hryvnia), RUB (Russian Ruble), and BYN (Belarusian Ruble); all of those routes will now use USD Swift Wire.
A USD account and SWIFT account number will need to be set up in your artist account in order to receive payouts. Please note: Fees in this case are much higher than other payment methods ($25 per payment) so we suggest setting a minimum payout of $45 - $65.
