CD Baby Boost gives your release access to enhanced tools and analytics designed to grow your music career faster. You can add Boost when creating a new release or upgrade an existing one. This article explains how to add Boost in both cases and what to expect once it’s applied.

- When you start a new release, you’ll see a Choose Your Distribution Package step.
- Select CD Baby Boost instead of CD Baby Standard.
- Continue setting up your release as usual - enter your track information, artwork, pricing, and publishing details.
- Once you reach the Checkout page, you’ll see Boost listed as your selected package.
- Complete your payment to finalize your Boost release.
How to add Boost to an existing release

- Go to your the Albums and Singles tab on your dashboard and find the release you want to upgrade.
- If your release is eligible, you’ll see an Add Boost or Upgrade to Boost option.
- Click the button and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
- You will need to sign each of the agreements for services you've opted into to proceed.
- If you're adding the MLC for the first time, you'll need to select at least one songwriter for each track to collect for.
- If your release was finalized without ownership split percentages, you'll need to add this for each songwriter here.
- Once payment is confirmed, your release will automatically be upgraded to CD Baby Boost.
