How to opt out of Sync Licensing

Opting out

You can opt-out of the sync licensing service through the CDB Boost opt-in page of your release. 

Login to your CD Baby account, and find your release in the Albums & Singles page. Click "view/edit" next to the title you want to opt-out of CDB Boost.

On the Title Overview page, scroll to the heading "CDB Boost" and click to expand. 

Click "Edit Boost Opt-Ins" to navigate to this page of the submission form:

Simply navigate to "License for Sync Money" and toggle the check box.  

Opting back in

To opt back in, do the reverse! Simply toggle the check box back to green. If you opt back in, you will not be charged for CDB Boost again.
