If you purchased music from CD Baby, you can access your downloads here by logging into your account and visiting the Digital Downloads section.
However, most mobile devices don’t support downloading ZIP files directly, so you may need to use a desktop or laptop to complete the process and then transfer the music to your mobile device.
Downloading Music on a Mobile Device
- CD Baby delivers digital downloads as ZIP files.
- Most mobile devices cannot download or extract ZIP files directly.
- To access your music:
- Use a desktop or laptop computer to download and unzip the files.
- Then sync the music to your mobile device manually.
Using an Apple Device (iPhone, iPad, iPod)
- You can view your download history from your Apple device by logging into your CD Baby Downloads account.
- However, you won’t be able to immediately play or download the ZIP files on your device.
- To access your music:
- Log into downloads.cdbaby.com from a desktop or laptop.
- Download your music from the Digital Downloads section.
- Import the MP3s into your iTunes Library.
- Drag and drop the files into iTunes, or use File > Add to Library.
- Sync your music to your Apple device.
Things to Note
- All CD Baby downloads are DRM-free.
- You can:
- Burn them to a disc
- Store them in your media library
- Sync them to your mobile device
