How do I claim my Amazon Music for Artists profile?

• In your CD Baby account, go to Tools & Promotion and click the first tile labeled Amazon Music for Artists.
• Log in using your existing Amazon account or create a new one specifically for Amazon Music for Artists.
• Search for your artist profile using:
  • Your artist name, or
  • Your artist ASIN (found in the “Share” URL on Amazon Music).
• To verify your claim quickly:
  • Provide as much info as possible, including social media logins (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
  • Use your CD Baby authentication details—this fast-tracks your access.

How long does it take to get verified?

• Authentication via CD Baby is usually instant, unless Amazon can’t match your CD Baby account to your music catalog.
• To avoid delays:
  • Make sure you’ve selected the correct artist profile.
  • Provide complete verification details during the claim process.

What if my music is mixed up with another artist?

• If your profile includes music that isn’t yours—or your music appears on someone else’s profile—you’ll need to submit an artist separation request.
• To do this:
  • Open the Amazon Music for Artists app.
  • Go to Help under User Settings and click Report Issue.
  • Provide a list of:
    • Albums that should appear on your profile.
    • Albums that should not appear on your profile.
• Changes typically take about 4 weeks to reflect on Amazon Music.

How do I change my artist photo?

• You can update your profile image and background image directly in the Amazon Music for Artists app (web or mobile).
• Go to Profile & Tools while viewing your artist data.
• Changes may take up to 48 hours to appear.

Image Requirements

• File types: .jpeg or .png
• Profile photo: Minimum 500 x 500 pixels
• Background image: Minimum 1920 x 1440 pixels
