FastForward is a paid upgrade ($29.99) you can add to your release to speed up the inspection and delivery process, and get dedicated priority support for one year. You might use FastForward if your release schedule is tight, for example if you have an upcoming event, promotion, or coordinated launch.
What does FastForward include?

- Faster response times during inspection (1–2 business days instead of the standard timeframe)
How to add FastForward
- When submitting a new release, select the FastForward option during checkout
- If your release is already in the inspection queue:
- Click “I Need to Make Changes” on the Title Overview page to pull it out of inspection
- Once unlocked, click "Submit for Distribution" again
- Then, click "I'm ready to submit for distribution"
- There will be a pop-up offering FastForward - click "Add to cart"
- Follow the steps to pay for FastForward at checkout
- Access priority support by going to your Title Overview and choosing the “Priority Support” option
FastForward eligibility & limits
- Not all genres are eligible for FastForward (for example, classical releases may be excluded)
- Delivery times to stores still vary by platform, even with FastForward
- FastForward does not guarantee immediate launch, it only speeds up CD Baby’s inspection and delivery process
Things to note
- The FastForward fee is nonrefundable once paid
- If you make edits to your release after adding FastForward, it may re-enter inspection and lose its priority placement
- Selecting FastForward does not override store-side review times
- For changes after delivery (like metadata or tracks), use the Priority Support button if your release has FastForward enabled
