Understanding your Snapchat reporting

Unlike other Social Video Monetization partners, Snapchat pays you for both video creations and views of those videos. How the per-creation or per-view amount is computed is proprietary to them. 

We want you to know how many creations and views you had, and that you are being paid for both. So we’ve arbitrarily split your total earnings from Snapchat 50/50 between creations and views to illustrate this.

The total revenue shown is correct, the number of video creations and the number of views are accurate, but the unit price is just a mathematical placeholder. This displayed value will change from month to month, but that does not mean the actual unit price has changed.
