CD Baby does not support transferring releases between accounts. If you need a release to appear in a different account, you’ll need to resubmit it through that account. This article explains what to do depending on whether your release has been paid for, delivered, or includes Pro Publishing.
If your release is paid, but not yet delivered:
- CD Baby can refund the original submission, allowing you to resubmit it in the correct account.
If your release is paid and already delivered:
- You’ll need to cancel distribution and sign up a new release in the account you would like your content to be distributed from.

Things to note:
- If this is a legacy Pro Publishing release and the Publishing Administration portion is complete, you will need to request to cancel that agreement.
- If Pro Publishing is not yet finalized, you may request to downgrade the submission before canceling and resubmitting.
