How to download Sales Reports

You can download your sales reports from within your CD Baby account. Here's how: 

1. First, log in to your CD Baby account at www.cdbaby.com.
2. Navigate to the “Sales & Reports” tab, then click “Sales & Accounting” to get to your Accounting Overview page.
3. On the bottom left side of the screen, select the "Monthly Sales Reports," "Yearly Sales Reports," or the "Lifetime Sales reports" link.
4. On the next page, select the type of sale for the reports before clicking the “Download” or "Request Report" link.
5. The system will then compile the data into a .txt file. For large files, such as lifetime sales, we will email you when it's ready to be downloaded from inside your account.

The text file will download in your computer’s native text editor. Once you open it, you can highlight all the text and then copy and paste the data into your spreadsheet program of choice. The data will auto-format and organize into columns for you.

Please note: CD Baby's Sales and Accounting data from our digital partners includes transactions from July 11, 2009 to present. Transactions prior to this date are no longer available in your CD Baby account or in downloadable Lifetime Sales Reports.
