Affiliated with ASCAP or BMI? Maintenance Notice for new Letters of Direction

Songwriters who are affiliated with the United States' societies, ASCAP and BMI, will be unable to file their Letter of Direction with CD Baby until February 2, 2021.

• This does NOT affect your distribution, your music will be delivered to our distribution partners just like it always has been.
• This will NOT affect the collection of royalties on your behalf. Any publishing royalties that are generated in the interim will still be collected and paid out to you.

BMI and ASCAP recently introduced their new repertoire, Songview, which has changed how we need to send songwriter information to these PROs. We are actively working on updating our system so we can continue adding songwriters that are affiliated with these PROs. We expect this work to be completed by February 2, 2021.
