Some things might take longer than you are used to.
There might never have been a more important time to do what you do: make music.
Right now, like many of you, CD Baby staff all over the world are working from their homes to distribute your music.
This is what that means for you.
Inspection
Please allow at least 5-10 days for inspection. We always recommend selecting a release date at least 6 weeks from the date you submit for distribution to allow enough time to promote your music and ensure your release date is honored.
Please note: anytime you make changes to your title, it takes it out of the inspection queue and puts it at the back of the line.
Changes after delivery
Typically, these requests should process within 12 weeks or less. Please note that once an update is processed it may not be visible immediately depending on the site and change requested.
Contacting Us
We're open, but it might take longer to return your call, reply to your email, or resolve your problem. We haven't forgotten about you, we promise, but it will take a little longer. We appreciate your patience.
This help center has answers to almost every question, and, if you are having trouble finding the right article, Capitán is there in the lower-right-hand corner to guide you.
We're still paying artists every week.
This hasn't changed. If you are over your paypoint you get paid, just like we've been doing for over twenty years. If you are still getting checks and want to switch to another method of payment, or want to change your paypoint, here's how to do that: How do I update my payment info?
The United States Post Office has temporarily suspended international service to these countries "due to service impacts related to the COVID-19 pandemic". When the check is returned to us, the balance will be added back to your account. Another reason to consider switching to a different method of payment right now.
CD Baby is still here for you.
We're all at home, and working to get your music out to the world. Take care of yourselves, be safe, make music.
