With CD Baby's physical distribution service, you'll be able to suggest a list price. As with most marketplaces, the retail price your fan ends up paying is variable, they may pay more or less than your suggested list price.
Our recommendation is to price in one of these tiers to find that balance between selling more CDs or vinyl and making enough money from each unit sold.
The following are three suggested pricing tiers, depending on your needs.
- Budget: $10.99 per disc
- Midline: $12.99 per disc
- Full Line: $15.99 and above per disc
Remember, your physical disc is subject to our $4 dollar cut and the competitive 20% wholesale discount.
