In order to collect royalties on behalf of the songwriters in your band, we need the legal names of each songwriter and not the name of the band. If the song(s) were written by every band member, we would need you to to enter each band member's legal name in separate boxes and the name of their publishing company (or select 'No' if they do not have one). This way, we'll be able to collect royalties for each member of your band.
If one of your band mates doesn't want CD Baby to collect royalties on their behalf, simply sign them up as a non-collecting songwriter. Confused about what that means? Click here.
