Most of the partners obtain any artist photo and bio information from the Rovi music database (associated with AllMusic.com). Submitting your info to Rovi is a great first step in updating your band/artist info. This is something that's not directly associated with CD Baby, so we cannot provide support for it, nor can we guarantee that our partners will pull your info from Rovi for use on their sites.
Check out the below link with more info on submitting your music to the Rovi music database: http://www.allmusic.com/product-submissions
In addition, some of our partners allow you to claim and verify the pages on their stores.
You can claim your artist page(s) on Apple Music by following the steps below:
1. Claim your artist page using your Apple ID and the iTunes Connect web portal: https://itunesconnect.apple.com/WebObjects/iTunesConnect.woa
2. Once your claim has been verified (note that we cannot assist in verifying or expediting your claim - the process is handled entirely by Apple), you can post content for your fans via the iTunes app on your iOS device (the "For You" tab), or via iTunes on your desktop/laptop computer. More detailed instructions can be found here: https://linkmaker.itunes.apple.com/images/howtoconnect.pdf
CD Baby can also upload an artist photo for you. Just e-mail your desired artist photo to firstname.lastname@example.org<mailto:email@example.com> and please include your CD Baby username. Please type "Apple Artist Photo" in the subject line and in the body of your e-mail. Your image MUST be at least 2400x2400px, and needs to be a perfect square.
