Why are there YouTube videos for my music that I didn't put there?

If you choose the distribution level "Downloads and Streaming" for an album or single it will be delivered to YouTube Music.

The YouTube Music service automatically creates a high-quality album art video called an Art Track because it plays the audio while displaying a static image of your album cover.

Please note: YouTube Music is only available in specific countries. You can see a list of those countries on Google's support page here. 

How you earn revenue.

You will receive revenue from streams of these videos just like any other streaming partners.

Can I connect these Art Tracks to my personal YouTube account?

When these videos premiere they will not be connected to your personal YouTube account, because YouTube Music is a separate platform within YouTube.

If you choose to create a YouTube Official Artist Channel then the YouTube Music Art Tracks will connect to your personal artist YouTube channel.

I don't want my music on YouTube

If you are not interested in being a part of the YouTube Music platform, you are free to cancel delivery to YouTube Music. The instructions to cancel from a specific partner (like YouTube) are here.  

Please Note: removing YouTube Music from your distribution will also opt you OUT of YouTube Monetization (AKA Content ID). You must have YouTube Music as part of your distribution to take part in YouTube Monetization.
