Do you report sales to Luminate?

CD Baby will report all physical and digital sales of albums with a barcode to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Soundscan) on a weekly basis.

HOWEVER it is your responsibility to register directly with Luminate to make sure that your sales are properly credited to you. You can register your information with them at [this link](https://support.mrc-data.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-get-my-music-tracked-by-luminate-data).

When a CD sell occurs through a partner outlet, the retailer will report the sale to Luminate, not us.
