When you sign-up a new album, one of the things we ask is if any of the tracks are 10 minutes long or longer.
Apple Music and Apple iTunes automatically make any track 10 minutes long or longer, an "Album-only" track. This means on Apple Music it will be available for streaming as usual, but on Apple iTunes it will only be available as part of a full-album download.
Some of our other partners offer "Album-only" tracks as a feature.
- If you select, "Make my Extended Tracks available as default priced track downloads & streams," these longer tracks will be available for individual download at the same price as the shorter tracks.
- If you select, "Make my Extended Tracks available as "album-only" and do not distribute this album to streaming services." The tracks will only be available as part of a full-album download.
Please choose carefully. If you opt to make these longer tracks "Album only" this entire album will not be distributed to streaming services, you will not be able to opt into YouTube Content ID, and we will not be able to change your selection after the album has been distributed.
