How do I submit for and get my live performance royalties from concerts I play as a Brazilian songwriter?

The process to receive performance royalties for shows you play as a Brazilian songwriter is very similar to that of other territories. You need to have your songs registered with a PRO, and submit your setlists and performance information as you play shows. The only difference is that there are many Performance Rights Organizations in Brazil and they handle each step of the process up until distribution. The final and most important step is handled by ECAD.

ECAD is a non-profit institution focused on centralized collection and distribution of music copyrights and public performance rights. All performance information will be passed from your affiliate PRO to ECAD to be monitored.

Each Brazilian PRO is listed below, along with links that will lead you through the process of submitting your setlist. The ECAD prefers performing songwriters to submit performance information to their PROs before the concert takes place.
