CDB Video Creator

The CDB Video creator is a user-friendly tool that helps you create beautiful Spotify Canvas videos. Canvas videos are short (3-8 second), looping visuals that can accompany your song on Spotify Mobile. This video loop will play for the entirety of your song.

*An important note: A Spotify for Artists account is required to upload your video to Spotify. Learn about Spotify for Artists here.

$9 per video (one finalized track per video)

How it works

Start creating your canvas video by following these steps:

• From the CD Baby dashboard, click the Tools & Promotion tab.
• Scroll down and click on the CDB Video Creator tile. 
• From here, follow the prompts to start creating!
  
  Keep in mind, you will only be able to create videos for tracks that are FINALIZED for distribution. If you have partially finished releases in your account, they will not appear in the video creator tool.
  
  
• Once you've chosen a track for your video, click + New or Create New Video.
• You can upload your own photo/video file (as long as you own the copyright) or choose from an extensive library of royalty free video clips!
• Next, you can edit the video segment, add filters, and choose a looping mode.
• Once you're happy with your video, click Add to Cart. 
  
  Note: If you close the video editor window, you video will save as a draft automatically.
  
  
• After you've paid for your video, CD Baby will need to render it behind the scenes. This can take up to 30 minutes, but is often much quicker. We'll send you an email with access to your download as soon as it's ready!
• Once you have your shiny new canvas video, log into your Spotify for Artists account to upload it!
